Tampax Rebrand
Rebrand Concept: Tampon branding is embarrassingly outdated. Not only are the boxes ugly, but they are marketed as feminine products. However, we know that not all people who use tampons identify as a female. We rebranded Tampax to fit into this more modern world.

The new logo features the font “Kare.” The light blue is a gender-neutral color that reflects the concept that menstruation products are for anyone with a period.
We completely revamped the original packaging design, turning the box into a cylinder to match the cylindrical shape of a tampon. We aimed to create a design that would stand out from the other period-products on the shelves.
Internal Packaging design
We removed the flowery imaging on the packaging and instead refocused the design on the color coding system that Tampax uses for different flow levels, in order to aim for a more gender-inclusive visual.
Tampacks
Tea is a common remedy to period symptoms, so we created a branded tea kit that utilizes different formulations of herbs to help with cramps, soreness, mood-swings, and stress. The tea bags follow the same color coding system as the individual products to represent which tea bag to use at different stages of menstruation.
We created a custom portable hygiene bag to store Tampax tampons on the go. The bag is designed to be slim and inconspicuous. It can be worn both under shirts and outerwear, as well as over clothing.
The interior of the bag features seven individual pockets to hold Tampax tampons, with additional space on the side for pads and other menstruation products.
The back of the bag features a thin heating component that sits where the bag meets the abdomen to help with period cramps. The heating component has an on and off switch, and can be charged through an outlet on the bottom of the bag.
Heated blanket
Heated blankets are another great remedy for menstruation symptoms. We designed a heated blanket that features different heating levels based on the same flow-based color coding system.
A special bundle of all the newly branded products will be featured on the Tampax website. The pack of items will contain a pack of tampons, the heated portable bag, the heated blanket, and a TeaPax box.
